Florian Pasco grew up on the family farm in Inguiniel, a Breton village, among sheep, chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, and corn fields. He fed the animals, cleaned the coops on weekends, and fixed tractors with his father.
At eighteen, he left for Brest to study what the farm did not teach: electronics, software, and mechanics.
He built an autonomous field robot at AgriProtech. He retro-engineered tractor ECUs at Breizelec. He learned how a global company works at BMW Group in Munich. He learned how a startup grows at HyLight in Paris, designing autonomous airships.
Douar Group was founded in January 2026 in Lorient. Its purpose is simple: take what those years taught about engineering and apply it to the work he was raised in.
